Answer :- There are following ways to extinguish fire –

(i) Convection Method:- The transfer of heat by the intermediary object is called dissipation. Like metals do not burn but burns the things coming from their heat.

(ii) Convection Method – The change of temperature by gas or smoke is called convection. By this, the fire starts due to reaching the upper floor heated.

(iii) Radiation – Radiation means the intermediary means that changes heat from the source of fire without satiating the air. The effect of fire can be reduced by placing a radiation curtain between the object to be rescued.

(iv) Direct Ignition – Direct ignition occurs with the help of above two or three components i.e. diffraction radiation.
